Dr. Samuel Robinson

Award of Excellence

Kamron Perry Louisville Male High School/Eastern Kentucky University

Each year, Lincoln Foundation presents the prestigious Dr. Samuel Robinson Award of Excellence to a Whitney M. Young Scholar to recognize his or her commitment to the college readiness program. The award is named in honor of Dr. Samuel Robinson, President Emeritus, who created the Whitney M. Young Scholars Program in 1990. Scholars earn points based on academic performance, attendance, and active engagement. The senior scholar with the highest points earned receives this prestigious award. The award provides a renewable $5,000 scholarship for four years, up to a maximum of $20,000, towards the cost of an undergraduate college education.

Lincoln Foundation and Baird are pleased to present Kamron Perry with the 2024 Dr. Samuel Robinson Award of Excellence.
