Louisville, KY — July 24, 2026 — Lincoln Foundation, in partnership with the University of Louisville College of Business, will host the 5th Annual Digital Transformation Academy. Whitney M. Young Scholars in the tenth and eleventh grades spent part of their summer learning how data and technology shape the modern business landscape.
On Friday, July 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., students will showcase what they have learned during the Digital Transformation Academy to peers, family, business & community leaders in the Karp Auditorium at Thornton’s Academic Center of Excellence at L & N Cardinal Stadium.
The presentations will exemplify their forward-thinking, innovative concepts while demonstrating their knowledge of data analytics, digital strategy, and innovation. These skills are essential in this digital age. In addition to their presentations, scholars had the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials, including a Google Analytics certification, which they can proudly include on their resumes and college applications.
“Students have the opportunity to excel by diving into real-world technology applications and understanding their impact on commerce,” said Marshall Bradley, President of Lincoln Foundation. “If you’re not ahead when it comes to technology, you will always be a step behind. We are preparing our scholars to be the future leaders in business and technology.”
The event is open to invited guests, educators, and business & community leaders. We will have students, parents, and staff available for media interviews.
