Educational Opportunity Scholarship

Program Overview

Wanting to provide educational opportunities to disadvantaged children not just on a temporary basis but for a lifetime, a group of generous, anonymous donors established the Educational Opportunity Scholarship.

The Educational Opportunity Scholarship specifically targets two year olds from disadvantaged families (primarily minorities) in the Louisville area who are at risk of not completing high school or going to college. Recipients receive scholarship monies covering the cost of their education from preschool through four years of college including private tuition, books, supplies, room, and board. A minimal contribution may be required by the family. Volunteer time may be considered in lieu of a monetary contribution.

Applications are not currently being accepted. Please check back in the future for information about how to apply.
